What is Paintball?

 

    Paintball is an international sport that encompasses all ages and both male and female athletes. It has evolved from the woods playing of "tag" to the tournaments of today of Speedball that have prizes up to thousands of dollars and vehicles. Paintball is a recognized High School and Collegiate sport with many schools and universities fielding teams. 

   

    Paintball is a form of Capture the Flag with elements of the game "Tag". Two teams compete for the flag which is either in the center of a defined field or at each teams bases. Recreational paintball, or Recball, is usually played in a woods setting and have more players involved. Speedball, or tournament paintball, is a new style of paintball that is faster paced and played on a smaller field usually. Both forms offer a stimulating sport that challenges both mind, spirit and body.
